Scope

To correct the technical error about the requirements on the space heater test method.

Purpose

Existing codes and standards contain cautionary notes for open or nonexplosionproof or nonflameproof enclosed machines in Zone 2 and Class I, Division 2 locations as covered in the NEC and the CE Code. This guide documents industry experience and established practices and provides guidance for applying machines in these locations.

Abstract

Corrigendum Standard - Active.The technical error in the requirements on the space heater test method (8.3.2) is corrected by this corrigendum.
