1. SCOPE.
This specification covers the material and perfonnauce requirements of the following type of weld nuts: IS0 metric coarse threaded nuts M5 to Ml4 inclusive. Nuts of the same blank design as above but with a plain unthreaded hole suitable for the assembly of a thread rolling screws as defined in WD 95 1 or WD 952. IS0 metric coarse threaded nuts M8 to Ml4 inclusive with a prevailing torque feature of the plastic insert type. 3 -. REFERENCES.
